I am a carer; will the Trust charge me?

The Trust has a duty to assess, and also the power to meet your needs as a carer and this means that they have discretion whether they meet your needs as a carer. If they decide they can meet your assessed needs, you will get help free of charge but if they can’t, you may need to pay for the services.
